Replica Helmets
I am happy to offer a variety of replica helmets from different trilogies, anthologies, shows, and video games throughout the universe!
-
The finished helmets I sell are offered in an array of materials. FDM printed PLA plastic, SLA printed resin, or slush cast impact resistant resin. All of these options have their ups and downs, and come at varying price points.
PLA Plastic: The most budget friendly option I offer, great starting point for makers and cosplayers alike. PLA plastic is ECO friendly, easy to sand, and very lightweight, perfect for trooping!
SLA Resin: This is my mid tier option, both in terms of durability and price. These resin prints are a breeze to finish, requiring significantly less sanding than the traditional PLA, and offer a nice amount of durability!
Impact Resistant Resin : Cast resin is at the top of the list in both price and durability. Casts require little to no sanding to achieve good paint adhesion, and require the least post processing work. These, unlike toe previous two options, are able to withstand a descent amount of abuse, which makes them great for cosplay. With that said however, they still should be treated with care!
-
Due to the custom nature of the cosplay and replica pieces I offer, shipping and turnaround times can vary on a case to case basis. I try to keep a number of printed items already on hand, but there are times when orders are truly “made to order”. The following turnaround times are rough estimates for the time it will take from the moment your purchase your piece, to the moment you receive it. These are subject to a bit of variability
Finished Helmets: 3 Weeks US or 4 Weeks Intl (1-2 weeks completion, 2-4 days domestic shipping or 1-2 weeks Intl shipping)

I’m often asked if I am able to offer custom products, whether that be in the paint job, or an entirely different piece. The short answer is yes, I am able to take on custom jobs/pieces, but with a custom request, you can expect a few things to change:
Turnaround Time: Although this may seem obvious, I feel it needs to be said. With any new project, there is research, time, material, and money required. With this in mind, you can expect the turnaround time for a custom work to be a bit longer than something I already offer. It will vary on a case to case basis, but is something I will communicate to you after your purchase
Price: Although I touched upon it above, when i’m taking on a new project, there are often new tools or materials required to accomplish what needs to be done. If this is a custom paint, stencils, or stickers, the price of those items will be added to my base price. Price may also vary depending on the complexity of what is being asked for in the commission.
DIY Kits
DIY kits are made with makers in mind, giving people the option to assemble and finish a helmet themselves!

Once you decide that you’d like to build your own helmet as opposed to purchasing a finished one, you’ll want to have a list of tools that will help you achieve the best finish possible. Here I’ve included some of the essentials:
Bondo Glazing and Spot Putty
Rust-Oleum 2 in 1 Filler and Sandable
CA Glue (Super Glue)
Sandpaper (180,220,and 320 Grit)
Various colors of Spray Paint
These will depend on the helmet you’re making
If you pick a brand, stick with it. Sometimes, for example, Krylon and Rust-Oleum wont adhere to one another
